We are  is currently seeking a dynamic executive leader for the position of System Vice President of Process Excellence for OhioHealth, located in Columbus, Ohio.

The Vice President will lead and manage the OhioHealth Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure optimal effectiveness and achieve continuous improvements in the quality, efficiency and value of organization services across the system, and will also create and foster a culture of accomplishment that will allow OhioHealth to drive its goals and objectives across the system.

This executive leader will be responsible for the oversight and ongoing development of the system-wide Process Excellence (PEX) team and will have the opportunity to drive innovation across the entire system and create value for its stakeholders.

The Vice President will apply strategic and technical understanding of process excellence to developing, implementing and overseeing a strategy for leveraging the Project Management Office as a development opportunity for future OhioHealth leaders.

This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, interacts regularly with functional and business leaders across the system and with the OhioHealth executive leadership team. This position directly or indirectly supervises department, functional and business entity leaders, manager and associates as required.

Job Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field (MBA, MHA or master's degree in industrial engineering)
  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement expertise.
  • Established leadership credentials, proven track record of operational management impact, and a keen ability to educate and collaborate to create organizational buy-in to goals and change.
  • Highly analytical and excellent with benchmarking, metrics and quantifying how changes can lead to bottom line impact.
  • Executive leadership experience in a large health system or related organization or a non-health care company with world class process excellence and leadership development focus.
  • Desirable: 10-plus years of experience in a medium to large healthcare integrated delivery system.
